Plot Summary

Plot: After Madea (Tyler Perry) catches some children looting her home, she turns them over to their Aunt April (Taraji P. Henson), a nightclub singer who wants nothing to do with her late sister's kids. But things begin to change when a handyman (Adam Rodriguez) decides to rent a room in her basement. Now nothing will ever be the same as April finds love, faith, family - and herself - in this inspirational romantic comedy featuring performances by Mary J. Blige, Gladys Knight and Marvin L. Winans.
Rated PG-13 by the Motion Picture Association of America.
