The People Vs. Larry Flynt, On Demand Movie, Drama

Plot Summary

Plot: Woody Harrelson stars as Larry Flynt, a small-time strip-club owner who created a publishing empire with his raw and raunchy Hustler magazine. The grade-school dropout became a blue-collar Hugh Hefner, marrying exotic dancer Althea Leasure (Courtney Love) and settling into a 24-room mansion. But Hustler pushed the limits of American tolerance, and Flynt attracted enemies like a magnet. Arrested for obscenity and constantly harassed, he began an arduous fight against the rising tide of censorship and the emerging radical religious right. Flynt became an unlikely hero and secured his place in history when he took his struggle against the Rev. Jerry Falwell all the way to the Supreme Court. Director Milos Forman was an Oscar® nominee and won the Golden Globe for this award-winning, controversial film.
Rated R by the Motion Picture Association of America.
