Plot Summary

Plot: Richard Gere, Laura Linney, Will Patton and Debra Messing star in this suspense-filled thriller about a reporter driven to extremes to investigate the mysterious circumstances surrounding his wife's death, and how they might be connected to the strange phenomena occurring in a distant town. After his wife is killed in an unexplained accident, John Klein (Gere) is left with her last words, “You didn't see it, did you?” and a sketchpad covered with odd drawings. Later, he loses his way while driving and ends up 400 miles from where he should have been. He soon realizes that local reports of unexplained phenomena may all be related, not just to each other, but also to his wife's strange sketches. But how? For John, it's a race against time to figure it out, and try to prevent something terrible from happening.
Rated PG-13 by the Motion Picture Association of America.
