Plot: Directed by Tony Scott (Top Gun, Beverly Hills Cop II), Revenge stars Kevin Costner as Michael Jay Cochran, a Vietnam War veteran and recently retired Navy pilot who is invited to Mexico by his old friend Tiburon (Anthony Quinn), a wealthy, ruthless power broker. At his palatial estate, Jay is drawn to Tiburons new wife, the young and beautiful Mireya (Madeleine Stowe), and finds himself torn between his loyalty to his friend and his passion for Mireya. When Tiburon-Spanish for shark-discovers that his friend and his wife are cheating on him, he has Jay beaten and left for dead, and packs Mireya off to a brothel.
