Immediate Family, On Demand Movie, Drama

Plot Summary

Plot: Linda and Michael Spector (Glenn Close and James Woods) are unable to have children. They endure everything from the pain of watching their friends raise kids to the aggravation of repeated humiliating examinations, all to no avail. But they have what it takes to be good parents. Lucy (Mary Stuart Masterson)-17, unwed and pregnant-knows that, and decides that at this stage in her life, the Spectors can provide a better home for her baby than can she and her boyfriend (Kevin Dillon). But when the day comes to actually give up her baby, it turns out to be much more difficult than she expected. Immediate Family is a bittersweet and often humorous look at the relationship between a couple yearning for a child of their own and the young pregnant girl who may hold the key to their happiness.
Not Rated by the Motion Picture Association of America.
