Redbox Rewards Program
Terms & Conditions

The Redbox Rewards Program (“Program”) is brought to you by Redbox Automated Retail, LLC (doing business in Texas as DVD Rental by Redbox LLC) (“Redbox,” “we,” or “us”).
The Program is a customer-reward program that is available to eligible Redbox customers (see Section 2, below) who have a standard member account with Redbox (“Rental Account”). If you have a Rental Account or create one at the Site, you may sign up for a Program account (“Rewards Account”) by checking the appropriate Rewards Account sign-up box on the Site. Customers who sign up for a Rewards Account (“Members”) will be able to earn “Points” with each Qualifying Activity (defined below). When you have earned ten (10) Points, those Points will be converted into a “Credit” and credited to your Rental Account. You will be able to redeem your Credits through your Rental Account.
- Eligibility & Registration
The Program is open only to legal residents of one of the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico who are the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence. A Rental Account in good standing is required to participate in the Program. You must provide a valid email address to register for a Rewards Account. When you enroll in the Program and create a Rewards Account, you will be required to opt into receiving marketing messages from Redbox. Redbox may, in its sole discretion, sort registrants for a Rewards Account into different marketing-message groups such that not all Program participants receive the same marketing messages. You may opt-out of receiving marketing messages from Redbox at any time and doing so will not affect your ability to participate in the Program. The Program is void where prohibited by law. Do not participate in the Program if it is not legal to do so in your jurisdiction. Redbox may limit the number of Program participants and may temporarily or permanently discontinue registering new Rewards Account at any time and for any reason without notice to you. There is a limit of one (1) Rewards Account per individual and email address. You agree that you will not participate in the Program under more than one Rewards Account. Corporations, groups, and associations are not eligible.
You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your Rewards Account or password and you agree you will not sell, transfer or assign your membership or any membership rights. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for restricting access to your computer (or other device, as applicable) so that others may not access your Rewards Account.
- Earning Points through Qualifying Activities; Conversion of Points to Credits
The Program involves two important measurements: Points and Credits. Points are accumulated by Members through the completion of Qualifying Activities and represent the progress made by that Member towards earning a Credit.
Points may be earned for performing qualifying activities, including renting movie and game titles from Redbox (each a “Qualifying Activity”). Qualifying Activities only count towards the earning of Points once you have a valid Rewards Account. Activities that occurred prior to your establishment of a Rewards Account do not qualify for this Program and will not earn you Points. The conduct that constitutes a Qualifying Activity and the number of Points earned for such Qualifying Activity may be changed by Redbox from time to time in its sole and absolute discretion. The current schedule of Qualifying Activities and the number of Points that may be earned for performing each is available HERE. In addition to the Qualifying Activities generally available as part of the Program, Redbox may from time to time offer individual or specific Members the ability to earn Points through the completion of certain activities or may offer all Members a one-time opportunity to earn Points in a new way (“Additional Qualifying Activities”). Some Additional Qualifying Activities may not be open to all Members. The details of an Additional Qualifying Activity, including a description of the conduct required and the number of Points available, will be as communicated to the eligible Member(s) by email or in another communication from Redbox.
Points will appear in your Rewards Account within approximately twenty-four (24) hours of your completion of a Qualifying Activity. Upon your accrual of ten (10) or more Points, ten (10) Points will be converted into one (1) Credit and posted to your Rental Account. As a result, you will never have more than nine (9) Points in your Rewards Account at any given time. Redbox may, from time and time and in its sole discretion, elect to award you additional rewards or incentives – separate from and in addition to a Credit – following your accrual of ten (10) Points.
Your Points will expire one (1) year from the date on which they are earned THROUGH THE COMPLETION OF A QUALIFYING ACTIvITY. Credits will expire thirty (30) days after YOU COMPLETE A QUALIFYING ACTIVITY THAT RESULTS IN THE AWARD OF A TENTH (10th) POINT. FOR THE PURPOSES OF CLARIFICATION AND WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, EXPIRATION FOR POINTS AND CREDITS IS MEASURED FROM THE DATE ON WHICH YOU COMPLETE THE UNDERLYING QUALIFYING ACTIVITY AND NOT FROM THE DATE ON WHICH THE POINT OR CREDIT APPEARS IN YOUR REWARDS OR RENTAL ACCOUNT, RESPECTIVELY.
- Redeeming Credits
Each Credit is redeemable for a one- (1-) day standard DVD rental or Blu-ray Disc® rental. Credits are valid for use at any Redbox kiosk or when an item is reserved at either www.redbox.com or through the official Redbox mobile app for pick-up at the kiosk. Use of a Credit at the kiosk requires registering a valid payment card with your Rewards Account and swiping that same card for your rental transaction at the kiosk. When using your Credits for a rental transaction, you may redeem a Credit by choosing to “apply” it to your purchase during the checkout process. You must affirmatively apply Credits; any Credits you may have will not be automatically applied to transactions. Multiple Credits may be redeemed in the same transaction, but Credits may not be combined with or used in the same transaction as any other offer, including promotional codes. Credits may be used only once and are not valid for prior rentals or reservations. Your payment card (necessary for any rental) will be charged the full daily rental rate for any additional items that are not covered and paid for with Credits, plus applicable tax (except for MD rental transactions for which additional tax is not charged) for the first night of rental, if applicable. Your payment card will be charged the full daily rental rate for all items plus applicable tax (except for MD rental transactions for which additional tax is not charged) for each day you do not return your rental by 9:00 pm local time (at the kiosk) after first rental night. You are solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and any other costs or expenses of accepting and using Credits or other rewards, unless Redbox specifically states otherwise in writing. Your redemption of Credits for rental activities is subject to Redbox’s rental terms, available at redbox.com/rentalterms (“Rental Terms”).
Redbox may from time to time permit the redemption of Credits for other activities. For a schedule of Credit-redemption options currently offered by Redbox, please click HERE. Any use of Credits in connection with activities other than those specified by Redbox constitutes fraud and may be prosecuted. For redemption activities other than the rental of discs, the Credit-redemption process will be as explained by Redbox at the time of redemption.
Neither Points nor Credits have any monetary or cash value and they may not be redeemed for cash or any cash equivalent except under the Program. Points and Credits are not transferable and cannot be combined with other offers or with another person’s Points or Credits. Points and Credits are not your personal property, and are not descendible, may not be inherited, bartered, purchased or sold to any third party. Other exclusions and restrictions may apply.
- Loss of Points and Credits; Termination of Your Rewards Account
In addition to termination of the Program pursuant to Section 6, below, Redbox may also revoke your ability to participate in the Program for: (i) your abuse of the Program, including, without limitation, your use of any “bot,” macro, or other automated means to participate in the Program or to earn Points; (ii) your failure to follow these Program Terms, the Site Terms, the Rental Terms, and any other terms and conditions applicable to the Program; (iii) the attempted or actual sale of any of your Points, Credits, or your Rewards Account; (iv) any misrepresentation by you; (v) suspension or termination of your Rental Account; or (vi) any other conduct deemed by Redbox, in its sole discretion, to be an abuse of the Program, to be detrimental to the interests of Redbox or its customers, or to be otherwise improper. If your ability to participate in the Program is revoked, any unused Points or Credits will automatically expire and your future participation in the Program may be prohibited. In addition, Redbox will have the right to take appropriate administrative or legal action, including criminal prosecution, as it deems necessary in its sole discretion.
Redbox is not responsible for Points or Credits that expire, are lost or are redeemed due to fraudulent activity. Suspected illegal, fraudulent or other unauthorized use or misuse of Points or any other activity inconsistent with these Program Terms or the Site Terms will result in termination of your participation in the Program, which may result in the loss of all accumulated Points earned and Credits issued but not yet redeemed.
You agree to abide by the final and binding decisions of Redbox regarding the Program and your participation in it. Redbox is the sole arbiter of all issues relating to the Program, including a decision to remove Points or Credits or to deny rewards, and all of Redbox’s decisions relating to the Program are final.
You may elect to terminate your Rewards Account at any time by contacting Redbox at 1-866-REDBOX3 (1-866-733-2693). Termination of your Rewards Account will not affect your Rental Account or any Credits previously issued to you and posted to your Rental Account. However, upon termination of your Rewards Account, any Points associated with your Rental Account will automatically expire and be forfeited. If you later elect to re-enroll in the Program, you will not have access to any Points associated with your previous Rewards Account and your beginning balance of Points will be zero. Because having a Rental Account is a requirement in order to have a Rewards Account, termination of your Rental Account (either by you or by Redbox) will result in the automatic termination of your Rewards Account and the forfeiture of any Points and Credits then associated with your Accounts.
- Modification of These Program Terms & Termination of the Program
We reserve the right to modify these Program Terms from time to time, with reasonable notice to Members. We will notify you of changes to the Program Terms by posting them to the Site and may also notify you by email to the address then associated with your Rewards Account. The updated Program Terms will be effective as of the time of posting, or upon such later date or by such other method as specified by Redbox. The updated Program Terms will apply to your participation in the Program beginning as of their effective date. We also reserve the right to change, from time to time, the conditions for participation in the Program, the activities that earn Points or the number of Points awarded for those activities, redemption requirements, Credit values, the type of rewards for which Credits may be redeemed, or the mechanism for redeeming Credits. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO TERMINATE THE PROGRAM COMPLETELY BY PROVIDING YOU WITH THREE (3) MONTHS’ WRITTEN NOTICE OF THE IMPENDING TERMINATION TO THE EMAIL ADDRESS ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR REWARDS ACCOUNT. In the event of such termination, your sole remedy will be to complete additional Qualifying Activities to earn additional Points sufficient to cause your then-outstanding Points to be converted into a Credit prior to the effective termination of the Program.
All questions or disputes regarding eligibility for the Program, collecting or redemption of Points or Credits, or a Member’s compliance with these Program Terms will be resolved by Redbox in its sole and absolute discretion.
