Roku

There are lots of ways to add the Redbox channel to your Roku player. Note: If you can’t find the Redbox channel, make sure your system is updated.


Search for the Redbox App (The easiest way)

1. From the home screen select “Search” and type in “Redbox”.

2. Once the Redbox channel displays in the search results, highlight it and select “Add channel”.

Note: If you created a PIN during activation you will be prompted to enter it. (If you forgot your PIN go to go.roku.com/pin for support.)

3. The Redbox channel will appear at the bottom of the channel list on the home screen.

Note: Select “*” on your Roku remote and “Move channel” to move the Redbox channel to your desired location (we hope it’s at the top). Then hit “OK”.


Add it from the Channel Store (The second easiest way)

1. From the home screen select “Streaming Channels”.

2. Once you find the Redbox channel, highlight it and select “Add channel”.

Note: If you created a PIN during activation you will be prompted to enter it. (If you forgot your PIN go to go.roku.com/pin for support.)

3. The Redbox channel will appear at the bottom of the channel list on the home screen.

Note: Select “*” on your Roku remote and “Move channel” to move the Redbox channel to your desired location (we hope it’s at the top). Then hit OK.


Another way is the Roku mobile app (Also pretty easy)

1. Simply select “Search” and type in “Redbox”.

2. Select “Add Channel” to add the Redbox channel.

Note: If you created a PIN during activation you will be prompted to enter it. (If you forgot your PIN go to go.roku.com/pin for support.)

3. The Redbox channel will appear at the bottom of the channel list on the home screen.

Once you’ve got the Redbox channel – sign in and start watching.

1. From the Redbox launch screen select “Sign In”.

2. Using your desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile device navigate to www.redbox.com/register-roku and enter the code displayed on your Roku device.

3. The screen will update when the activation is complete.

Note: Signing in is a one-time process, unless the user signs out of their Redbox account on the Roku device.

4. Browse ON DEMAND MOVIES or ON DEMAND TV SHOWS.

5. Rent or buy a movie. Or buy a TV episode or whole season.

6. Click Watch Now and start watching. You’ll find it in My Library if you want to watch it later.

Installing the Redbox App is easy.

1. Press the smart hub button on your Samsung Smart Remote

2. Select Apps

3. Select the Add Apps icon

4. Select the Redbox App

1. Select the Home button on your remote.

2. Scroll to the LG Content Store.

3. Click OK on your remote.

4. At the top of the screen scroll to the Apps & Games icon and click OK.

• Or scroll to the search icon and select Apps & Games.

5. Scroll to Redbox and click OK.

6. Select Install and click OK.

• Once installed you can launch the Redbox app directly from the product details page by selecting Launch and clicking OK, or from the Home screen.

• Note: To change the location of the Redbox app on the Home screen, scroll to the app, hold down OK on your remote until “Edit Mode” appears, move it to where you want (we hope it’s first), and press OK.

iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch & Apple TV users: At this time, you can’t rent or buy movies or TV shows using the Redbox App or Redbox On Demand App. But you can go to redbox.com to rent or purchase, then hop back to My Library and your movies & TV shows will be right there to watch.

Rent with 30 days to start watching and 48 hours to finish. Buy and keep digital copies to watch offline. And with thousands of titles to choose from, Redbox On Demand is truly non-stop entertainment. But don't worry, the Redbox kiosks you love aren't going anywhere - this is just another way to watch!


Q: What is the difference between Redbox and Redbox On Demand?
Redbox On Demand beta is another great way to watch new movies and TV shows. Users can stream or download movies and watch them from their mobile phone or tablet, laptop or desktop computer or by using a streaming device connected to their TV.


Q: But what about the kiosks?
Our kiosks aren't going anywhere. We know many of our customers prefer renting from the Box, so feel free to stop by your favorite Redbox location for the latest movie and game releases.


Q: Is there a subscription fee?
Redbox On Demand beta is a transactional service and doesn't require a subscription. Just pay as you rent and purchase, without being tied down to a monthly payment. Just keep in mind that we're not accepting gift cards for Redbox On Demand beta transactions at this time.
