This inspiring family film is based on the true story of a group of impoverished Mexicans who overcame adversity to compete in the 1957 Little League World Series. Clifton Collins Jr. stars as a baseball player whose Major League career encounters numerous obstacles. Returning to Mexico, he is coaxed into coaching a Little League team. Moises Arias, Jake T. Austin and Ryan Ochoa are the gritty Little Leaguers, and Emile de Ravin and Cheech Marin co-star in this riveting sports drama.

Rated PG by the Motion Picture Association of America for some thematic elements.
