After Danny Hill's grandmother dies, Danny is offered an opportunity he cannot turn down, her mammoth rent controlled New York apartment. The only catch, in order to ensure he is not kicked out of the building, Danny must spend 12 days locked inside the apartment. What begins as an easy ride to a cheap apartment soon turns into a nightmare as Danny begins to question if he is the only "occupant" of apartment 1003.
