Anton is a physician who commutes between his work at an African refugee camp and his home in Denmark. Anton and his wife Marianne are separated and facing the possibility of divorce. The older of their two sons, ten-year-old Elias, was being bullied at school until he found an ally in Christian who just moved to Denmark from London. Christian recently lost his mother and is struggling with his grief over her death. The two boys become close friends, but their friendship is tested and their lives put in danger when Christian involves Elias in an act of revenge that could have tragic consequences.
