A fallen angel attempts to redeem himself after failing to protect a child in his care. In an attempt to make amends, he involves himself in a crime case that follows on the child's death. However, angels face many problems operating on Earth. Modern rational people aren't easily convinced of their existence, and detectives involved in the case soon perceive The Angel as a suspect rather than an ally.
