Did Free Movie Mondays change?

Yes. The last weekly Free Movie Mondays code will be sent on May 11th, and codes will be sent on the first Monday of every month through the summer starting on June 1st.

How do I contact redbox Customer Service?

If you don't find the answer to your question in the redbox FAQ, you can reach a friendly redbox Customer Service Representative two ways:

  2. Send redbox an email any time, and you'll get a response within 48 hours.

For single-night rentals, when are DVDs due back at a redbox?

To pay for just one night, make sure you get your DVD back by 9:00 p.m. the evening after you rented.

What if I'm late?

At redbox, there is no such thing as a late fee. Each night you will be charged the additional night fee plus tax.

How do I get a receipt for my DVD rental?

Enter your email address when you rent and redbox will send you email receipts and return confirmations for all your rentals.

I returned my movie, but my card has not been charged, why?

Most often your card will be charged immediately, but processing of your payment can take several days.

How can I receive promotional codes for free redbox rentals and other offers?

Redbox periodically sends special offers to customers who have signed up to receive emails. Redbox also sends a promo code the first Monday of every month to customers who have signed up to receive SMS text messages. Click here to sign up for both programs now!

How do I redeem promotional codes at a redbox?

Just follow the three steps below to redeem your code at any participating redbox:

  1. Touch "RENT WITH A PROMO CODE" on the redbox touch screen
  2. Make your DVD selections and add them to your cart
  3. Your discount will be applied during check out

What if the restaurant or store where I rented my DVD is closed?

You can return your DVD to any other redbox — click here to find a redbox near you. You can also choose to keep the DVD for the additional nightly fee plus tax.

When are new releases available?

New DVD releases are added to every redbox every Tuesday.

What do I do if my DVD is unplayable or the wrong DVD is in the case?

Please contact redbox Customer Service at 1.866.733.2693, 7 days a week from 7:00 a.m. to midnight Central Time, or send redbox an email. Please note that redbox cannot refund charges that are older than 90 days.

What if I lose the DVD case or DVD?

You can purchase a new jewel case for just $1.00 right from any redbox kiosk. Look for "Empty Case" under 'E' when sorting DVDs alphabetically, or go to the last product when sorting by release date. For lost DVDs, your credit or debit card will automatically be charged $25.00 + tax after 25 days.

I'm trying to return my DVD and redbox won't accept it. What should I do?

First, make sure the DVD rental kiosk you're trying to use is, in fact, a redbox (click here to find the redbox locations near you).

Occasionally, a redbox will be completely full, and won't allow you to return a DVD. In this case, please return your DVD to another location.

What if my credit or debit card is charged incorrectly or my credit or debit transaction is denied?

You can also send us an email. Please note that redbox cannot refund charges that are older than 90 days.

Why does redbox ask for my zip code and my email address?

Redbox asks for your zip code as a part of the billing process.

Do I need to be 18 or older to rent DVDs from redbox?
